I worked to develop the complete brand identity for local a craft soda company based out of Sacramento,CA.
Since early 2016 I have continued working with them to produce a multitude of products and marketing elements.

Founded by one of Sacramento's most respected and experienced coffee roaster; the service provides weekly roasts, freshly ground directly to customers' homes or offices.
When I was approached by Benza, the CEO and founder of Seasons Coffee Roasters, I was very excited - as anyone who knows me will say, I've been a coffee fanatic as long I've been a creative.
The logo was inspired by the most obvious of images however, the opportunity to create a monogram that also perfectly matched the shape of the brand could not be overlooked. The custom logotype was also intentionally crafted to be in direct opposition with the monogram, the two together provided a sense of both D.I.Y & classic aesthetics that I thought worked great together. I was directly inspired by urban clothing lines & skateboard companies.
Preservation & Co. is a Sacramento-based canning and speciality drink mix company. Winner of the best Bloody Mary mix in California, I was hired to develop a series of four shirt designs that would portray the diverse and fun nature of the brand.
The new Logo was also developed to convey a sense of timelessness, presence and authority while also harkening back to the era in which hand-crafted and hand-made products were the hallmark of american industry.
Here are collections of logos I have done over the years.
Some current, some 'retired' some never to have seen the light.
Nonetheless I enjoyed making these.
Ideateam is a 7-12 piece (depending on the show!) Funk band based out of Sacramento,Ca.
The band approached me with the idea of branding the band in a way that would be both memorable, modern yet nostalgic to the era in which their music was inspired. The idea would be to use this new image on the new record with the possibility of continuing the look long-term.
I had always been inspired my logo-types that used just the letter-forms to convey the feel of the band, but I also loved seeing when bands had elements to their logo that would be used throughout their merch and promotional materials.
Since this was the debut album from the band, and would basically introduce them into the scene – the idea of a simple yet energetic album package came to mind. A bright, collaborative mixing of talented musicians would be the theme of this, thus producing a very high-energy, colorful album cover.
The poster concept came from the idea that this album would be released on Halloween and needed to be something that was as impactful as the album itself.
Poster design work is too far and few these days for me, but when given the chance i like to experiment and find new techniques and styles.
These are some of my favorites.
